Yamaha Oil Injection Pump Re-Seal Kit, HVC200103

When you disassemble your pump,the gear inside that runs off the worm drive gear has in it some tricky parts. Take it apart slowly. The gear has a large thin washer over the gear, On the shaft the gear sits on, there are two, tiny spring loaded pins. Leave the gear on the shaft! If you remove it, the pins will pop out. If you're not working in a plastic bag, bye-bye pins. (Found out the hard way!) The pins are not available as far as I or HVC is aware of. In my case, bought a scrap pump only for the pins. Putting this all back together is a bear. I used a rubber band to hold the pins in place and then slid the gear back on the shaft.

I have done close to 10 pumps with these kits on bikes ranking from a 1966 YL-1 to a 1977 RD400 and the kit has had all the necessary and correct parts to do every one of them!!

The kit had everything I needed and more to rebuild the oil pump on my 1978 DT400. With a little help from the internet the rebuild went easy

It's nice to have a company produce these parts that aren't available from the factory any more. Quality seals and news screws to replace the old buggered ones. This went in a 1967 Yamaha YL2 Street rotary 100. Good to see they have the seals to fit all Yamaha 2-Stroke pumps.

All parts were excellent quality and fit perfect. An instruction sheet would have been helpful and been a time saver. Be careful of the tiny springs and very tiny cam followers when taking the pump apart.

This is a very nice kit to support rebuild of Yamaha oil injection pumps. The parts are not available from the manufacture. Thank you HVC for your help with my vintage restoration.

Received a great repair kit al intact and complete. Great kit. Unfortunately, living on the other side of the world, the freight cost more than the repair kit!!!!! Other wise, perfect thank you.

This kit worked perfectly for me on my 77 rd400, though it said the small seal would probably not work, it did and I was very pleased about that, and of course multiple options regarding the large seal, easy to install and eliminated my oil leak, also the gaskets were an exact fit, anyone who has tried to hand cut those gaskets as I did knows those 2 gaskets make this kit worth its price.
