YAMAHA R5 VOLTAGE REGULATOR / RECTIFIER
Excellent OEM replacement. Connectors were an exact match to the originals. Wiring hook-up took about 5 minutes. I had to drill two different mounting holes on the battery frame. The regulator unit would not clear the rear fender using the original holes. Turning the unit about 20 degrees made it flush with the box edge and a perfect fit.

Installation
This is a nice compact unit that replaces all the original nastiness. It is a tight fit and I found that the mounting holes in the unit didn't line up perfectly with the mounting, threaded holes in the original bracket. I enlarged the mounting holes of the unit slightly and made for a perfect fit.
