Yamaha DT250 throttle cable
Since the cable is no longer available from Yamaha, your options are to find an new old stock one (and pay dearly for it) or repair your old one. Luckily I found this replacement from HVC cycle. The quality is on par with the original, it fits and operates perfect, and it arrived quickly. I'm very happy with this product and would not hesitate to buy another or recommend it.
