Works great !
Mutch better than the first version you were selling ! With the old version rubber intakes were to thin causing them to collapse!

nice product
This fit really nice with one caveat at least from my experience. It's a knucklegrinder to try and fit the y boot on with the stock airbox in place. In fact it's impossibe to get the flange truly seated this way and the flange of the stock airbox is razor sharp as it took some skin off my fingers! What you must do is remove the battery and it's battery holding box which will have some electrical component bolted to the bottom of it, just set it on the rear fender as there is enough slack in the wiring then you can lift the airbox out of the bike and then you can attach/clamp the y boot to the airbox. This is the secret to making this job easy. This product is a must as the old y boot will not only be hard but will be shorter in length and in my case not full seating on the flanges of the carbs.

Great Product
After several hours of heating and boiling the old boot I gave up and ordered a new one. The new one was installed within five minutes. I also have the satisfaction of knowing that when my bike is finally assembled and if the carbs ever need to be pulled the new boot will make the task much easier. Well worth the investment.

Definitely Worth The Money!!
My old boot was so hard it was best described as being made of ABS plastic, I had to use a heat gun to make it pliable enough to fit onto the carbs. Well after 3 jet changes and more to come I got real ticked off one night trying to install my "heat setting" Y boot with burnt fingers and ordered a new one. Once I compared the two next to each other my old boot had shrunk about 7/16ths and the runner diameter by at least 3/16ths. Besides A little bit of Flashing on the inside that I had to remove the new boot was really nice and made jet changes SO MUCH EASIER. Tl:DR; If you have an old hard boot, don't waste your time and your sanity and buy a new one, it makes your life so much easier.

actually works!
After many wasted hours with the inflexible original, I found this one. It actually does what it is supposed to do. Great option!

73 RD 350
The Y boot is a perfect fit for the RD. It's soft and easily slides into place. You won't be disappointed.

Y Boot Fit
The original Y boot was impossible to use as it had hardened and shrunk - never had a chance to see how it originally fit. The replacement is nice and properly shaped to fit the original airbox mounting flange and onto the carburetors. Installing the piece was easy. Very happy to use the stock design they way Yamaha created the bike.
