Mount Damper Kit
In the end, I think the product worked well. It was difficult to figure out the proper location for the rubber, but once I did that everything turned out okay. I peeled the backing off the adhesive and stuck the rubber on the inner side of the outer metal ring that surrounds the gauges. I had cleaned the metal beforehand, but the adhesive didn't really stick well. I had to trim off about 1/4-inch of the rubber so the ends didn't overlap. I lubed the inner part of the rubber that makes contact with the gauge with soap then slipped in the gauge and aligned it.

Loose No More
These bands were easy to install following the instructions.I used Brake Clean on a rag to clean up mounts.Installed them first without removing adhesive protective strips to check fit,was perfect.I would recommend to anybody that wants to get their gauges back to original, tight fit in their housings.Took about an hour.

OEM dampers are now NLA, these are the next best option.
The OEM dampers used for this style meter are really NLA at this point. These are the next best thing, a strip of soft, ribbed rubber banding you glue/stick onto the inner ring of your bracket. Two suggestions: first, I found it easier to put the strip in place first (without removing the paper protector), and then removing each protective paper one at a time. That way you set it where you want it, and gradually glue it down. Second, when you insert your meter, put the outer ring on it first. That way the seal between the strip you just installed and the outer is a better fit.
