Note, this is a spare for VAPE systems, use in other systems is not tested. regulator does not support charge control lamp
This regulator was specifically designed for use in systems without a battery and therefore has a built-in smoothing capacitor, but it can also be used with a battery without restrictions as long as it is a 12V lead/acid battery
red = red = plus 12V
brown = brown = minus (ground)
the brown ground cable is connected to the housing in the controller. However, it is better not to rely on the screw contact of the regulator to ground and to screw the cable to ground. Any mix-up of the plus and minus cables or any polarity reversal of the battery, even for a short time, will destroy the controller immediately. black = black = connection of the two black cables from the PD alternator. Since these two black cables have alternating voltage, it doesn't matter which black cable goes on which. It is important not to connect any of these cables to ground or have any accidental contact with ground.
