my 2nd review of nice product.
This is in addition to my July 18,2017 review. As another poster mentioned my old rubber seals were so far gone I couldn't make heads or tails of where the biggest of the three rubber pieces that seals against the flange of the tank. Upon looking at pics on the world wide web I am of the impression that I had that piece upside down. I tried looking at a parts diagram on the Babbits Yamaha parts site and it's a grainy pic,too hard to make out, however other pics from folks who have gone thru this proved better. These are nice seals and HVC is a wonderful site to find and purchase these hard to find rubber parts. I must say it would be nice for those of us unfamiliar with the bikes to have some kind of assembly instructions. I still have yet to fill up the tank and see if she leaks but my best guess is it won't as the seal seems to now work as designed.

nice product
I agree with everyone that reviewed this product because you really need to find these hard to find items for old bikes and where can you get them plus it fits nice but... So I used this plus the two other rubber internal bits to rebuild the gas cap. Upon my first fill up at the gas station at the end of the ride I did notice that some gas still leaked out onto the top of the tank. Not sure if the flange didn't seal squarely right to the lip of the tank but nonetheless I added a homemade rubber gasket that I cutout of some plumber's gasket material you could get at a hardware store. Now it maybe that this product is perfectly fine as I used the old spring. Either way I still like the product may try to get a new spring and see if that helps.

External gas cap seal
The largest rubber bit that keeps the internal gas cap plates together and also seals against the lip of your tank. You can probably replace this without taking the cap apart, but why not get the other two rubber parts as well, and do the complete job?

HVC Cycle provides great products, service and advise.
I've purchased a number of products and received repair advise from HVC cycle over the years and they've never let me down. Their products are the real deal they won't fall apart like some replicated parts I've purchased from other suppliers.

Gas Cap seal
I bought all of the seals to rebuild my RD350 gas cap. It looks like my leaks are fixed, although I haven't had a chance to fill the tank all the way up. I could have used some instructions though, since my cap was so far gone it was missing some of the rubber pieces.
