- Pre-Filter Foam - Thick, Coarse Foam. Coarse foam for over the air box opening, or as the outer layer of a two layer filter.

Almost 10,000 miles so far
I used a chunk of this foam to create a side filter on the stock airbox of my 1982 Kawasaki KZ550 H1, also known as a GPz550 On the right side is a small rounded triangle, and since the parts were discontinued from the manufacturer I purchased this foam and made my own. I now have a little shy of 10,000 miles on the bike since installation, and I have had zero issues thus far. I am very happy that I found not only this website, but the products I need to keep my old bike on the road without having to resort to pod filters
